The late William Persona had a wonderful way with faces & eyes.
  He is best known for his SAD CLOWN paintings, often reading the Wall Street Journal or
sporting a button expressing his political views.  Lesser known are his paintings
of Mexican & Hawaiian subject matter.
 
It is estimated that he produced 4,000 paintings during his lifetime.
